Old Budapest - Young Budapest: After Paris, Lucerne, Bologna and Madrid book dealers and book collectors will meet in Budapest for the 42nd ILAB Congress and 26th International Antiquarian Book Fair from 21 to 25 September 2016.
The exciting congress programme will show the delegates from across the world that Budapest is a city with many faces: the old Hungarian capital full of books and music, history and tradition and at the same time a lively and busy Eastern European centre full of young and amazing cultural concepts.

9 am: Walk to the University Library
9:30 am: World of the Bibliotheca Corviniana - Codex Dante. Guided tour through the Library of Eötvös Loránd University
11:30 am: General Assembly in the library's grand hall1 pm: Lunch at the Café Central
3 pm: Free time activity
5 pm: Gödöllő, Lázár Equestrian Park. Horse show, pálinka, traditional Hungarian cuisine, live gipsy music etc.

9 am: Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), Kaufmann Collection. Guided tour
11:30 am: House of Terror
Noon: Cruise and lunch on the Danube
17:30 pm: Walk to Vigadó
6 pm: Vigadó. Official opening of the 1st International Antiquarian Book Fair in Budapest
