ArtPalmBeach celebrates its 18th anniversary at the Palm Beach County Convention Center from January 22-25, 2015 with a preview evening January 21st. ArtPalmBeach is Florida’s most established long running mid-winter international contemporary and modern art fair founded by Lee Ann and David Lester in 1997. Over 85 international galleries and partnering art institutions will be exhibiting contemporary and emerging art; installations; art performances; videos; contemporary art design; photography and works on paper. An art educational lecture series on today’s art trends and curatorial issues will be presented to the public during the fair.

The fair welcomes back over 60 returning exhibitors from France, Italy, United Kingdom, Argentina, Canada, Korea, Poland, Switzerland, Portugal, Chile, Israel, and United States. New exhibitors to date are; Adler Subhashok Gallery, Paris & Bangkok; Callegari Fine Arts, Brazil; Cordeiros Galeria, Portugal; Galerie Bruno Massa, Paris; Galerie Magenta Projects, Belgium; Galerie Lausberg, Dusseldorf; K Plus Y Gallery, Paris; Pashmin Art Gallery, Hamburg, Germany; Artists-Ten for US, Germany: MA2, Tokyo; Visions Neil Folberg, Jerusalem ; Gallery Tableau, Korea; Cambridge Fine Art, Boston and Czech Republic; and Galerie de Belleuflue, Montreal.

After the successful launch of ArtSynergy in January 2014 ArtPalmBeach continues its partnership in 2015. Supported by the Palm Beach Cultural Council, Mayor's Offices, W. Palm Beach DDA and Community Redevelopment Agencies In coordination with ArtPalmBeach the 2015 ArtSyngery’s program will include over 65 county wide gallery receptions, open artist studios, performances, museum openings, lectures and special architectural tours in nine historic art districts: Jan. 22; Northern Palm Beaches, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens Jan. 23; ART POP Lake Worth, Worth Avenue, South Dixie Antique Row Jan. 24; Boynton Beach Art District, Artists Alley, Delray Beach Jan. 25; Historic Northwood Village, Continuum W. The Collector Lecture & Forum Series will include: Ai Weiwei and Bert Benally’s 2014 film “Pull of the Moon” an immersive digital film project. Aperture Foundation, New York, sponsors a presentation by photographer Robin Schwartz on her new book “Amelia and the Animals”. The Kinetic International Art Biennale, Boynton Beach Art in Public Places will sponsor a panel discussion “Progression of Kinetic Art” moderated by curator Nancy Shiffer. Jim Baker,

   Executive
Director of the Pilchuck Glass School, Seattle will present a panel discussion “The Future of Glass is Already Here” and the premier viewing of the 40 minute documentary film “Pilchuck: A Dance with Fire” which will be a PBS special in the Spring of 2015. Jean-Pierre Laffont, international photojournalist will discuss his new book “Turbulent America 1960-1990” sponsored by FotoFusion, “Surrealism and Magic” presentation by Dr. Irvin Lippman, the Executive Director of the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

Daily Art performances by internationally renowned artist Beatriz Millar will “ PLASTIC DORIANNE IN LOVE” Sponsored by WhiteSpace Contemporary Art, will be performed in a special Cabaret Club setting designed by the artist for the fair. The Plastic Dorianne of the title is Millar’s alter ego, presented in this performance with a silicone life-size sculpture resembling the artist herself with exaggerated, hypertrophic features.
