My name is Agnes Korfanty. I`m a Polish artist and I still live in Lublin, Poland where I was born. In 1992 I finished artistic high school in Lublin and during this year I started studying French at the University of Maria Curie Sklodowska.

I`m interested in whole art which creates a better and more beautiful home. I like create paintings, do interior design, decorate fine china and also knit. I am passionate about illustrating books as well. I have illustrated a children’s book for Little Light Press in the U.S.A. which will be released in February of 2009. Awards - "Create with Wloclawek" – I created the project of bone china decorations for breakfast tableware. - "The changes" – My handmade clay bowl with my decorations was listed among ten winners.

I am an author of hand painted posters for a language school which were awarded the "Best in Lublin." These posters were painted in watercolor and called “ The European Capitals “. I also display my paintings at Loit, an old town of Lublin. Loit is a tourist information office for foreign visitors.
