Melbourne Design Fair showcases the best collectible design from Australian and international designers and makers with presentations staged by leading commercial galleries, studios, design organisations, and agencies in addition to a highlight exhibition of works for sale curated by the NGV Department of Contemporary Design and Architecture.

Melbourne Design Fair occurs from 18-21 May over the first weekend of Melbourne Design Week 2023, and is an initiative of the NGV presented in collaboration with the Melbourne Art Foundation.

In 2023, the Fair moves premises to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), confirming the design fair as the leading platform for the presentation, promotion, and sale of collectible design in the region.
