Performance Ancestors of the Blue Moon - Himali Singh Soin
On the occasion of the public program related to the exhibition The Third Pole by Himali Singh Soin with music by David Soin Tappeser, we invite you to come to the performance Ancestors of the Blue Moon.
We hope to see you there to enjoy a healing ritual by Hylozoic/Desires (the collective comprising Himali Singh Soin and David Soin Tappeser) based on Singh Soin's research on Himalayas, which proposes to bring us back from our lost presence with a gong bath, a tea ceremony, and a ritualistic film viewing of As Grand As What (2021).

One performance on Friday, January 27 at 4:00 pm.
Two performances on Saturday, January 28 at 4:00 and 5:30 pm.

All performance attendees will receive a copy of the book written by Himali Singh Soin Ancestors of the Blue Moon, a collection of flash fictions from the perspective of remote or forgotten feminine deities. These 13 dispatches signify the Tibetan Buddhist conception of the layers of the astral world and the years it takes to transform linear time into mythical time.

We also remind you that on Wednesday, January 18 at 5:30 pm Bioxeno - Nothing is more queer than nature at Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza. Bioxeno is a research and performance project by Ce Quimera and Gaia Leandra that questions the bases on which technologies and tools, both scientific and artistic, are defined, contaminating them with trans*feminist ways of doing, connected to a hacker ethic and a decolonial gaze.
