Friends of the ABA Visit to New College Library, Oxford 2024

Founded in the late fourteenth century, New College library houses c. 30,000 pre-1850 volumes, including 385 incunabula. Some of their highlights include books bequeathed by Cardinal Pole, the last Roman Catholic Archbishop of Canterbury, and a large collection of illuminated manuscripts. Join librarian Christopher Skelton-Foord for a tour of the library and a closer look at some of New College's treasures.
