Shapero Rare Books & Shapero Modern are excited to be participating once again at FRIEZE MASTERS, in The Regent's Park, London
Frieze Masters is an internationally renowned art fair held annually in London, specializing in artworks ranging from antiquity to the 20th century. Launched in 2012, it runs parallel to the contemporary Frieze London fair. With over 130 leading galleries from around the world, Frieze Masters showcases a wide array of artworks, including ancient sculptures, Old Master paintings, modern classics, and iconic 20th-century pieces. The fair attracts collectors, curators, art historians, and enthusiasts, offering a unique opportunity to experience historical and modern art within a contemporary context.

The scarce publication reproducing Goncharova and Larionov's works for the avant-garde stage, an exceptional copy that includes the two very rare additional colour pochoir plates by Larionov.

Inscribed by Kurt Schwitters and other contributors. The Camp Almanac 1940-41 is a special end-of-year double issue of The Camp newspaper, produced by detainees of Hutchinson Internment Camp on the Isle of Man, intended to showcase the work of émigré artists and writers detained there whilst also reflecting on the first six months of life at the camp.

The title of this work translates to 'the couple at twilight' and depicts a romantic encounter of two lovers with a full moon illuminating the gradually darkening sky.
Ed Ruscha. Stains (E.B9). 1969. £67,500
The complete Series of 76 stains contained in the original clamshell portfolio covered with black textured paper with embossed title in silver ink on the cover and spine.
